SCIN stands for Signed Card in Nose, the card signed in the nose. A game that certainly does not do for everyone and someone might even be annoyed. If you are part of this category of people, obviously you are not going to buy this product and the matter ends there for you. If you’re like me … and this is not a compliment, you like things outside the box and that go against the rules, then this DVD might interest you.

The video is long and detailed for a game that is essentially very simple, a card is chosen by the viewer, dispersed in the deck and ends up in the nose of the magician (physically inside the nose)
Everything starts from the blockhead technique, derived from fakirism techniques, to insert objects into the nose. The DVD on this issue is very well done, detailed and often reiterates the importance of security for this technique, which if done badly could cause serious damage.

Much of the video is devoted to how to build gimmick cards, with different types of cards and systems. You are already given two gimmick cards, which will soon be replaced, as they wear out quickly. You can tranquilizing them yourself … and even better than those provided. The card magic part linked to the game is summarily explained, with basic techniques that are not too effective, but it is easy to apply other techniques based on one’s level of knowledge in the field of card magic.

Without having the card signed, the game itself is effective and direct. If, on the other hand, you want the card to be signed, although the effect is much stronger, it becomes much more complex and above all less effective based on the techniques explained in the video. If desired, the technique to simulate the card’s exit from the nose is also explained, without having to actually insert it inside. Obviously the game in this case loses one of its strong points, but it can still work.

SCIN is an effect that I have used often, but especially with friends, a few times in front of a real audience, as it can be perceived with disgust. The DVD is discreetly made and in magic literature I don’t think there is anything else on the subject, so if you want to learn, it’s certainly useful. To do this effectively, I recommend changing the recommended cartomagic techniques.
