We are pleased to announce that Registrations for the 11th EUROPEAN MAGIC
HISTORY CONFERENCE to be held in London from Thursday 9 to Saturday 11
September, 2027 are now open.  This will be the second London conference
I have organised and I am delighted to be joined by my good friend Marco
Pusterla who organised the superb 7th EMHC in Turin.  Once again,
our London conference will be sponsored by The Magic Circle and its
President, Marvin Berglas, has kindly granted EMHC access to their
extensive film archives.

In addition to the conference, we will be offering two additional optional
events. Our traditional Sunday programme (on 12 September), and a second
on the Friday evening, 10 September. Details of the programmes for both
these events will be announced later.

SEATING ALLOCATION

Please note that all seating for the Lecture |Programmes and the Saturday
special Banquet and Gala Show will be allocated according of receipt of
Registration.

DEALER TABLES

A limited number of Dealer tables are available and will be allocated
according to time of registration. If you are interested in booking up to
two tables, please contact fergus@emhc.com.

HOTELS

We are negotiating special rates with our preferred headquarter’s hotel
and have been promised a substantial discount.  Details will be announced
in the Autumn and Registrants will receive hotel information ahead of
regular subscribers to this email.  In any case, September is not such a
busy season in London and hotel costs are much lower than during the summer
months which is one reason for our choice of September for our London
EMHC.

PROGRAMME

The Registration fee will cover the following:

 	Thursday: Afternoon.  Registration and presentation, “A Glimpse into
The Magic Circle’s Film Archives” followed by a Buffet with wine then
a show, “The Magic Circle Entertains” in the theatre.
 	Friday:  Full Lecture Programme including Morning & Afternoon Coffee
breaks.
 	Saturday: Full Lecture Programme including Morning & Afternoon
Coffee breaks followed by transport to the famous Brick Lane Music
Hall for an exclusive Gala Dinner & Show.  The Gala show will
feature a recreation of classic magical effects of yesteryear such
as Robert-Houdin and an original version
of Maskelyne’s “Psycho” presented by Scott Penrose, a former
President of The Magic Circle.

PARTNER REGISTRATION

In keeping with tradition, a Partner Programme is available at the
standard Registration fee.  This will offer the same programme as
Registrants on Thursday and the Saturday Evening Gala Show.  In addition,
there will be a programme of sight-seeing visits on the Friday and Saturday
to popular historic London venues.  The actual venues will be decided once
numbers are known.

SPEAKER APPLICATION

Already our speaker programme is almost fully booked but presentations
are still being requested.  Participants willing to contribute on subjects
related to magic history or the collecting of magical artefacts are

 Please note that all lectures are to be conducted in English.  With
regard to lecture timing, whilst preference will be given to 25 minute
talks, short talks or presentations of 5 to 10 minutes can be submitted for
consideration.  The Magic Circle offers PowerPoint and the usual
presentation facilities.

REGISTRATION FEES

Until 31st December 2026, you can register at the discounted price of
only £299 for the full event. From 1st January 2027, the price will
be £335.
